To,
The 3 Engineering Students
who invented the famous
Anti Rape Lingerie.

Dear Matheletes,

I would like to extend my gratitude for your thoughtful and pragmatic contribution towards safeguarding women.

With this invention I am sure rapes and molestation shall be minimized if not eradicated.
As, with the advent of technology and inhumanity it can be anticipated  that such innovations shall continue to foster the society.

Kudos to your team who came up with such a line of lingerie. I am sure it will be out in the stores soon with maybe different sizes and color prints. Until then congratulations and cheers for having made it to news headlines, so much recognition and finally getting an A in your some God Damned College Project.

Once again the society is shamed.

I am a woman who lives in a country which suggests me to wear a special Bra and underwear so as to not get Raped. What about small girls ? Can we get anti rape "sports" bra?  And wait..  lets not forget the kids! When shall the Anti rape Diapers be Launched ??

So you've offered a solution to protect women from being attacked at their bosom. But I am sure many of us would agree that WE consider even being finger touched without our permission to be a harassment.
Here, you got your next subject for the science project.

Further possible  inventions could be -

Anti Acid Face Masks
Anti Hair Pull Gelatin
Finally, Galvanized Armour suit for other exposed areas.

If the Girl who Boarded The "Wrong" bus was wearing all of these merchandise.. she'd have been alive.

Since MENtality will not change, it is better that I wear undergarments with circuit boards.

WHY US !!!!

I have an Idea.

Instead of making us wear Insulated Polymers why don't the genius heads develop some Integrated Circuit for Men's neurons that would give them a neat dose of electric shock whenever there's excess androgen.
I have even shittier ideas that i could share but then only the victims (if they are alive) and their relatives would support them.

If you are Fed Up with the culture then dare to cause a change. A change that's practicable.

You are giving us reasons to curse our birth as a girl child. Did we come in the world to give birth to a species that would tell us how to be safe from them?
Our short skirts invite trouble, so burka sealed women are the safest ?  Forget woman, it is common to witness a lewd eyeball taking a voyage at a 5 year old playing in park.

Women have to be made STRONGER !! Don't confine our respect and dignity in Bras and Panties

STOP MOCKING US !

Don't mess with The WOMAN !!

Sick of it!! So so so.. sick of it.!!!

Give me a knife and I'd peel their monster skin off.

Jab it along with my fist in their demented souls and when they beg to die...

I would chop each and every part of the brain sick body.. and scatter that on concrete path to be stomped by every passer by.

THAT is the state of my emotion.. every time I read "Girl Molested" "Gang raped" "abducted" "a Minor harassed"

A friend of mine after learning about a related news expressed:

"i hate people who can even think of this, doing this actually is beyond question.
Motherfuckers! The police is as much of a shemale as they are!
There have been so many events lately and the police is busy stopping traffic n taking money from them.
There dicks should be cut off n they should be left naked on the road for people to kill
I am so fuckin angry."

I am angry too my friend!

I am angry because these ogres in human skin get away with it.
They are are left loose to haunt the innocent. Sometimes I think these "insensate creatures" are all so mighty.
They can do whatever they want, whenver they want and to whosoever they want!

I am angry because, I always read these news, curse and turn the page.
Angry because i did nothing..! Angry because I can't do anything.. angry because I might not do anything.
Angry because i am scared and most of all,
Angry because I am a girl.

Its like you have invariably accepted to all the T&C when you were born as a girl.

*** I accept that I/I am

  • Conscious of the clothes I wear
  • Bothered upon being stared at
  • Daunted about stepping out after evening.
  • Scared to go out alone
  • Quiet over lewd comments
  • Ignore eve teasers
  • Cry secretly if harassed
You can't possibly do much about it.. its their tendency. You are some God damned scenery to them.

If I start to go'head and slap every pervert who digs his eye upon females... I'll have to take 3 more births.

And please God, Don't make me a guy. I want to be born as a girl, in every life..

and won't let the thought of being physically fragile disturb me. I WILL FIGHT !!

I don't know any Taekwondo or Kung-fu.. but I will beat the shit out of them. How dare they!

I have probably only killed moths and insects in my life... but if called for, I'd poke my fingers in their ribs.

I might have sacrificed, been quiet, been asked to shut up.. but don't forget that I bear pain in all forms.

I am a peace loving woman. Do not cross the sheath of my wholeness.

If I can bleed and bear lives... I can have you bleed and rot.. till you plead to die.

DO NOT underestimate the Women adrenaline.

RESPECT their Silence.

Amen.

A cold may summer..

May summers are probably the hottest.
The sun doesn’t just rise, it roars throughout the day!
No one wants to leave their home unless it’s a water park!

It was the usual lazy sunny afternoon. Temperature might be touching 40 degree Celsius. I was trying to take a snooze just when there was this constant thudding.

Apparently, there was some construction work going on in the neighborhood. So you just have to get use to the drilling and the hammering. It is kind of fascinating to watch the whole construction in progress and the sync with which those workers perform their chores. The smell of the cement, bricks, mortar and of course the sand hills which becomes a temporary play park for the kids. We all have played in the sand, haven’t we?

I saw a few kids playing on the sand and cherished my childhood. Before I could resume to a flat face, one of the workers appeared and shooed the kids away. While others dispersed like pollens, one of them stayed put. He started carrying ceramic tiles on his head. All at once my enthusiasm died and I thought of going inside.

As if my empathy and dreary would do any good to that child who deserved to play and make sand castles instead of making castles for others. However, I just watched that little kid.

He was guided and manoeuvred by a man who was his uncle, one of the workers. No kid would do this on choice! Apparently, this man had brought him along.
Bonded Child Labour.

The shirt that he wore had lost its colour in the cement dust. The cap over his shabby dark-brownish hair shadowed his face. His uncle constantly shouted at him for something or the other to which he never replied. From making concrete, carrying bricks and plastering, the 10 year old palms had lost their tenderness. His only recess allowed was ‘the Lunch’. I then reckoned that two dry chapattis folded in a small hanky can be someone’s lunch.

At 2 in the afternoon, the sun was bleeding lava. The little boy noticed me looking at him from my patio, as he wiped off the stream of sweat on his forehead. I shuddered with weirdness and guilt.

Weird because it’s not my routine to take a long fixed look at people.... and guilt... well, I can’t explain that. My throat had a blockage. I call it need for H2O. Without thinking too much, I poured chilling water in a glass and went down.

Having him watch drinking large mouthfuls rapidly, cured some of the unexplainable guilt and his “Thankoo” almost healed me.

I offered him a proper lunch and couple of clothes which he was happy to accept. It led me to a general talk. Well asking ‘Do you go to school’ was out of question, so I restricted it to knowing the child’s name.

“What’s your name?” I asked as he handed me back the plate (of meal that he actually deserved).
The little one smiled his thanks and timidly replied, “Gudiya”.

I lost my appetite for the day’s meal. The innocent under the cap was a girl, who now was back to lifting bricks and tiles on a head pan.

Proud to be an Indian?

Its 15th August again! Functions and celebrations in Schools/colleges and Offices. Playing and singing patriotic songs. A speech or two... National Anthem and then the show is over. That was offline. Talking about the 'Youngistan', the Hi-Tech Gen-X "Independence Day! Let's get noticed" We have Online events, "Let tiranga be your Profile Pic", "Tricolor on every Building" "Rang De Basanti" "ATTENDING" My space, twitter, facebook... Vande Mataram and Jai Hind. By the gloaming... game over :| That was it? This is the verve of the great Nation. We call ourselves proud to be citizens of Mother India! I thought of writing about this "Festival of every Indian" which is nothing more than a public holiday now. Why do we celebrate it? Is it because our country got free from the shackles of the blood suckers! This is why we are celebrating? Do we deserve to? So, why just this day, Where does the Love for country go rest of the year? The questions kept obscuring... Putting a Tiranga on my Facebook.. is that all? Would that mean anything to my country! 64 YEARS of INDEPENDENCE! Lucky are you and I to be born in an Independent nation. But my nation needs more than just tattooing tricolor on my face. This is not how I would pay tribute to our Freedom Fighters. Those who crusaded.. for we can live this day in a free country. If they cared about their social lives, we wouldn't have been celebrating. 15th August would be just an ordinary day. This day has much more significance than we devote. It took lives. Not just of great fighters like Netagi and Bhagat Singh but all those fighters whose names no one knew and nobody would ever know! They sacrificed everything for us... Life is just an understatement. So here's my tribute to all those Heroes who followed their leaders, did what were expected to and died as a proud Indian. I don't know their names or faces but I know, what they gave to my nation was invaluable.. which is not an easy job. I salute to all those 'unknown heroes' on this day. May their souls rest in eternal peace. I owe them.. for every breath I take in this free country is the blood they offered to the nation. I owe them... for this soil bears their ashes and bones. As a citizen,I cherish and will follow the noble ideas which inspired our national freedom struggle. I will strive towards excellence in all spheres. Its my duty to uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India. My slightest of contribution towards my nation makes me worthy to be called a proud Indian. Here's a question to all the fellow Hindustanis... 'What have you offered to the nation?' Would your action today mean anything to India? Ask Yourself!! Its easy to say "I can die for my country" But your nation doesn't need dying as an offering. Everyone has a lot to give to the country and many of us do!! People build hospitals/schools for the impoverished. Industrialists/actors do charity. Not all can do that but even the little things can mean a lot to someone who needs it. Like educating the poverty stricken, providing them books and stationary. We've seen kids from talent shows performing for charity, promoting a noble cause! If kids can.. why not us! I perform dance shows for charity and its exhilarating to see them smile, to be able to give them little happiness. This is what our country needs.. not sacrifices but just a little bit of support. Then prevails harmony, brotherhood and what we all love to say 'Unity in Diversity' No parasite can then challenge our strength or test our patience. When I fulfill my duties towards my country I experience exactly the same vigor that every Hindustani must have had on this historic day of 15th August 1947. Now.. I'll proudly wave the Tiranga because Yes, I am Proud to be an Indian. ***VANDE MATARAM***

LAW

LAW - Literally Apathetic Witchcraft ‘or’ Let’s Accept Willfully?
LAW: an ordinance of reason for common goal made by him who has care for the community. ~ Thomas Aquinar ~
Do we really care for our community? Of course we do and hence we are driven by such laws which are made either to restrain or enlarge freedom as Man is just a primitive without laws. Then again, a law without force is impotent so its enforcement is endeavored. It is the Authority which makes the law, not the wisdom. The powerful system often weeds out the genius mind. The law always limits every power it gives. More law, lesser justice. As a result people crushed by laws have no hope but to evade power. If laws are their enemies, they will be enemies to the law!! It is needless to mention how we ‘exempt’ our enemies from all laws of friendship! It has been the worst enemy of woman. It is rightly said that the nature has given women so much power that the Law has very wisely given them little.

If I had to summarize the purpose of Law through a rhapsody, then Law is –
The legislature’s job to write it,
The executive branch to interpret,
Corporate daddies to slack it,
Professionals to loophole it,
Scholars to memorize it,
And most especially, The layman and Jay-Z to middle finger it!

Hence the community has been taken care of. While some incurred or suffered, many figured and conquer red. But alas! The purpose of Law is butchered. Every time a law is framed, the ways to breach are sprung up. Then what lies in the essence of making laws? The computers say – “NULL, VOID (main), ERROR”

Here’s a simple one. We can’t compel anyone to be righteous, but what we can do is, live lives as though our every act was to become an ordinance. The good of the people is the greatest law!!
